In today's lesson, we're working on two very basic tap dance steps - STOMPS and STAMPS. Both steps make the same sound, but one takes your weight (stamps) while the other doesn't (stomps).
How, when, and where you shift your weight while tap dancing is a super important skill to learn, and this tutorial will help you do just that. I have a similar tutorial for stamps and steps, but this new video offers a little more of a challenge. This is also good practice for anyone who wants to learn or improve traditional Time Steps.
As an added bonus, stomping and stamping is a fun way to work through frustration, relieve stress, and feel more empowered. Sounds silly, but I promise it's true. 🙂
