As a teenager, I was a huge *NSYNC fan. Like an I-knew-every-single-lyric-and-recorded-every-single-performance-and-went-to-the-concert-and-dreamed-of-marrying-JC-kinda fan. "Crazy-obsessed" is probably an accurate description.
Anyhoo, one of the reasons I was so crazy-obsessed is because those boys could dance (PLUS THEY WERE DREAMY) - and in my opinion, there is not a better or more iconic routine in the history of boy bands than "Bye Bye Bye." I taught myself the steps using a self-dubbed VHS recording of a live performance at the 2000 American Music Awards. I watched it over and over and over, which isn't an easy thing to do on a VCR, kids.
Here's me dancing to "Bye Bye Bye" at my senior prom in 2000. Fun fact - I end up marrying the guy in this photo who clearly doesn't know the choreography. :)
Fast forward 19 years, and my teenage heart almost burst from joy when I got to teach this choreography at a live dance workshop earlier this year. Now I'd love to teach it to YOU!
